During the company's earnings call with Wall Street analysts later Monday, executives said that the EEOC investigation was now behind them and would no longer be a distraction. "Because of limited resources, we cannot file a lawsuit in every case where we find discrimination," the EEOC explains on its website. It's unclear if the question of whether to sue Bowlero made it to a vote with the EEOC's commissioners. He told CNBC he plans to sue Bowlero for $80 million, plus legal fees. In response, Bowlero's attorneys Alex Spiro and Hope Skibitsky at law firm Quinn Emanuel said they "are pleased with the outcome of the EEOC investigation."

Such has been Real Madrid’s dominance in the league this season that a 36th title has seemed almost assured for a while now. LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — A Kentucky city has come up with an out-of-this-world campaign to promote tourism. The Lexington Convention and Visitors Bureau used an infrared laser to beam a message into space to invite extraterrestrial travelers. “The first thing you’ll notice as you descend through Earth’s atmosphere above Central Kentucky is the lush green countryside that surrounds Lexington’s vibrant city center. It goes on to describe gentle rolling hills, horse farms and bourbon before suggesting places to stay and eat and shop. “We included imagery representing the elements of life, our iconic Lexington rolling hills, and the molecular structure for water, bourbon, and even dopamine … because Lexington is fun!”It could take a while to get an answer though.

By Steve GormanLOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A suspected serial killer was charged on Monday with murder in the fatal shootings of three homeless men in Los Angeles and a county employee who was robbed and slain after being followed to his residence, all of them over a four-day span, officials said. Powell was charged with four counts of murder, one count of residential robbery and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm. Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said there was no known connection among the four men who were slain and suggested that additional victims might end up linked to the case.
